COLUMBIANA — The Links at Firestone Farms is the planned location for a 24,000-square-foot office building for Prima Health Care.
The City Planning Commission approved a proposal Tuesday made by Dr. Steven DeMaiolo of Prima and David Harris of Thomas J. Keller Architects to place the office building at 107 Royal Birkdale Drive.
DeMaiolo explained that about 14,000 square feet of the facility would be occupied by Prima Health Care, and the remaining area would likely be leased out to other entities.
Harris said he expects to see bids for the project sent out in March, and construction to begin sometime between April and June 1. An opening date has not yet been determined, but DeMaiolo said he expects to see Prima occupying the facility "as soon as we can get in."
Assistant Zoning Inspector Bob Belding, with whom DeMaiolo and Harris worked to plan their proposal, said he believes the new facility will fit nicely into the commercial zoning area.
